OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The water is heated in the jug. The s team generated forces the
water through the ris er tube and into the funnel. The gentle heating
of the ground coffee enhances the coffee’s beneficial qualities .
The coffee is brewed at the ideal temperature and develops its full
aroma. Once the correct brewing time has elaps ed, the heating ele-
ment s witches off and the coffee flows back into the jug – it is now
ready to s erve.

The Santos coffee maker 3004 allows you to prepare between
3 cups (0.375 l/ 12.5 oz) and 6 cups (0.75 l/ 25 oz) of coffee.
The cycle time can vary according to the amount of water, the
amount of coffee and the grind of coffee, for 6 cups (0.75 l/ 25 oz)

filter and replace the filter plate.

Coffee has a s lightly des caling effect.
If lime depos its are only s light, it is
s ufficient to leave a little coffee in the jug
after each brewing cycle over a period of
2 –3 days .
Guarantee. BODUM® guarantees the "Santos " coffee maker for
2 years from date of purchas e agains t material defects or
malfunctions which can be traced back to defects in manufac-
turing or des ign.
Repair is free of charge provided all guarantee requirements are
fulfilled.

ordinary commercial des calers .
For the regular removal of s cale and dis -
colouring from the jug we recommend us ing
BODUM® cleaner and des caler.
Guarantee requirements. The guarantee certificate mus t be
completely filled out by the s eller at the time of purchas e.

s ervices .
